Since updating to iOS10.2 I've been experiencing problems with Apple Music.

It will take ages to play the song, when it does finally play it will stop at different times as though it has lost connection, and I will have to keep having to press play to continue the song. Sometimes I'm faced with the a 'timed out' error and won't play at all.

The same happens with our without headphones and I've reinstalled the app which made no difference.

I've noticed a few problems since updating to ios10.2 the phone being generally more sluggish but this is the most annoying!

Any advice would be great! Thank you!

Without specifics, that sounds like a network issue. Either your cellular or wifi network seems to be cutting in and out. I've experienced music annoyances, but music plays, when I hit play.

I have a similar issue, but it occurs over iTunes as well: basically the songs play and randomly stop and skip to the next song as if it were corrupted or something. Do note that previously this never happened, and I've already had a barrage of problems with my iCloud Music Library that Apple couldn't solve.

With your songs not being played for a long time, I'll recommend you to use a VPN to see if that plays the songs properly. It works for me, but it's seriously annoying that I have to connect to my school's VPN every time I want to use Apple Music properly.
