I'm trying to create playlists using iTunes on my computer, and transfer them to my iPod classic. But when I try to transfer them, I get an error message that says, "These songs will not be transferred because they are already on your ipod."

Of course, that's true, but it's never been a problem before. I've been able to create playlists of songs that are both in my laptop iTunes library, and on my iPod, and transfer them. Now I can't.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Thanks very much for your help!

With your iPod connected to your computer, select the iPod in itunes. Click music in the right window. Find the playlist you want to add in the playlist window. Check it. Apply changes. At least this is how it works with the touch.
