Problem with QuickFreedom and DFU mode

So i got my iPod into DFU mode and used the program QuickFreedom to set it up but now i cant get the files to write. It keeps giving me this:

[5:49:06 PM] iPod connected in DFU mode, press Start Pre-Jailbreak
[5:49:11 PM] If your iPod screen is not white, try unplugging/replugging.
[5:49:16 PM] iPod connected in DFU mode, press Start Pre-Jailbreak
[5:49:17 PM] Starting Pre Jailbreak. Please wait...
[5:49:39 PM] iPod connected in DFU mode, press Start Pre-Jailbreak
[5:49:59 PM] If your iPod screen is not white, try unplugging/replugging.
[5:50:16 PM] iPod connected in DFU mode, press Start Pre-Jailbreak

anyone know what i can do?

ok so i tried the pwnagetool thing and keep getting unknown error 21

what gives?

Are you on a Mac with 10.5.6?

If so you will need to connect via a powered USB hub, then it will work.
