Edited to say that it should be "problem with sync of contacts between mobileme and iphone" ! lol

Good evening,

I decided to add a new contact group on mobileme I did this and added the relevant contacts. This contact group appeared on my iphone contacts but the contacts were missing from the group. A day later I decided to delete this contact group on mobileme and set the group up again to try to force the sync. In fact what happened is that the original empty group which i deleted via mobile me remains on the iphone and the new group, of the same name is present on both mobile me and the iphone (with the appropriate contacts in it)

This means that I have one group on mobile me containing contacts and 2 groups of the same name on my iphone, one with contacts and the original without

How do I get rid of the empty group on my iphone as it is driving me mad. I admit that in the big scheme of thing s that it is not a lot to have to put up with but I do want it to be right lol :D

Problem Syncing contact groups to iPhone

I am having this exact problem. Anyone got a solution to this?

This worked for me

Hi ! I had some trouble syncing my iPhone contacts with mobileme and my mac. Mac to mobileme was fine but somehow it messed up on my iPhone.

Solution: iPhone -> Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts:mobileme -> turn CONTACT syncing off.

Go to your adresse book ->it will be empty.

Turn contact syncing back on.

Give it a minute to sync.

Contact and Groups should be correctly synced with mobileme !

Cheers !
