Today I upgraded my new Mac Mini with 8 GB memory and a 256 MB SSD. Unfortunately, I had a problem in putting the antenna grid into place. I could fasten only one screw to the case because of the shift of the grid relative to the case. To align the grid properly with the case, I tried every possible different ways I could come up with. I do not think it is due to the size of the SSD. Can anyone give me a trick to put the grid into place? Many thanks in advance!

I did 4 2011 minis so far 3 were very hard to do. one fit easy. the grills are flexible all three need a tiny bit of bending to fit. also attach the grills left and right leave the ssd/hdd to last.

Thanks for the hint. I will give it another try!

Edit: I finally made it. After numerous times of trial-and-error, I was finally able to tighten up the two screws that attach the antenna plate to the case. However, the plate now appears deformed a bit.

I first tried to install Lion on my SSD through internet without success because the errors occurred in the process of downloading (unfortunately close to the end). After failing three times, I pulled out the SSD. I duped the HD with Lion preinstalled onto my SSD by connecting them to my Air through USB with SATA-to-USB cards used. The copy speed was between 3+ MB/s and 5+ MB/s. I am now editing this post using my new Mac Mini which was already opened several times by me.
