problem with tmobile MMS

I JB a friend iphone 4 with jailbreakme and unlocked with ultrasn0w for tmobile. I then added the pushfix source and installed t-mobile MMS hack.

I then verified the settings are proper under cellular data. I then restarted the phone.

However, MMS still does not send and I get the exclamation mark. Also, there is no cydia.

If there's no cydia then how did you add the pushfix repo and tmobile mms hack?
