Is anyone else having a problem downloading videos using YourTube? I click the download icon and then click high quality and the bar just sits on downloading and doesn't move? I tried contacting the developer but haven't heard anything back.

I just tested mine out with a random video and it worked fine.
Does it give you problems with one particular video or everything you try to download?

I have noticed a different bug with YourTube.. if I'm downloading a video, it will stop at 99.99% and will never finish if I'm not directly watching its status when it reaches the end of its download. In other words, I cannot be watching a previously downloaded video when my currently downloading video reaches 100%, otherwise I'll have to cancel and download it again. Very annoying, especially when waiting for an 8-minute video to download and trying to pass the time by watching another video.

Had to shut down youtube and download it again.
It was a pain.

The problem has occurred with every video I have tried to download. Have you guys updated to every MobileSubstrate? I'm thinking that might be the problem.

Just to add some details. In on OS 3.1.2, BB 4.26.08 with YourTube version 1.0.0-1

I stopped using yourtube

I found MxTube on Cydia and find it much better. it's free to try the Developer requested a donation for support which I think I going to do. Similar to yourtube but works better IMO Big Boss is the source on this one you can also find it in Rock. try it can't do worse! personally I am deleting yourtube at least for now.

That sucks, maybe something you have installed is causeing a conflict.

With just north of 90 different Cydia apps it'll be like finding a needle in a haystack. If only the developer could possibly clue me in to what apps could possibly conflict with YourTube.

The thing I liked about YourTube was that it was a tweak to the existing YouTube app unlike MxTube which is a whole different app.

Perhaps you guys could list all your Cydia apps to help me eliminate which apps are not possibly conflicting with YourTube.

I have been experiencing the same problem since day 1, and have posted at many places and also sought help from the author. He does not bother to respond.

No choice but to keep the download status in full view, and make sure you do not switch to other screen such as the search tab, or view the previously downloaded video while waiting for the download to complete.
