I am taking my iMac in for service(refer to my thread) and I am thinking of having them keep it. I prefer portables to my desktop, and I really miss having a nice laptop. With this machine and its problematicicity( my first made up word) I am thinking this is the better decision.

Rocketing through the sky!
the macbook is really nice, unless you get one like mine. I just got it back from servicing today (it was the 3rd time since i bought it back in June) and the logic board seems fubar'd again as the PRAM needs to be reset in order for it to work

given the track record for the macbook, you would probably have more problems with the macbook. Keep the imac, and if more problems occur, exchange it for a new one.

A lot of the 'major' problems with the MacBook are FUD. Go ahead and get one – they're nice machines.

whats FUD? lol

FUD means Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. He's just saying that there's a cloud of mystery and bad rep around the macbook, most of it misplaced.
