Problems after 27 SMC update

I'm having finder issues since the update, the right click doesn't work when i'm on the desktop and all the icons i had on the desktop do not show on the desktop. They do in the finder window though, i have restarted run disk utility nothing works?

Try just moving everything back and resetting the click?

what he said. Or if you make TM backups, just restore it and try installing them again, you never know what might have gone wrong.

I can try the time machine thing. But there is a miscommunication on the other part. I can drag the stuf over because it's already there. The icons just don't show up on the desktop, only on the finder window. The right click I have no idea. There is some problem with the finder on the desktop.
