I decided to restore my phone and try WinPwn since there was some hype around it. Well after doing so, it wouldn't recognize any ipsw's AFTER pwning my phone. I can't restore through iTunes, I get an error 1012. I can't do anything with my phone. So I tried ZiPhone again, it got me into the phone and jailbroke it... Now I have no service with ATT. I need some help!

I am guessing you SO DID NOT read the FAQ.

1. Put phone in recovery mode (winpwn) may do it for you.
2. Press "iPwner" button - phone will reboot when finished.
3. Make custom firmware. Tick baseband update AND Activate.
4. Put phone into recovery mode.
5. Ctrl + restore in itunes to select the custom firmware you just made.
6. Phone will restore and boot up activated with installer.
7. Set phone up as NEW - do NOT restore from back-up.

Your error message is most likely due to you NOT putting the phone into restore mode when you used the custom firmware.

Put phone into recovery mode and use the custom firmware.

If you did NOT tick activate make a new firmware with that ticked!

Do I need an older version of iTunes? I put my newer .dll file in the CMW folder, and now it keeps crashing.

explain EXACTLY what you did...
every step

did you try the 2.0 beta firmware as well?

Tell me step-by-step what you did and which firmwares you used. Please remember firmware 1.2.0 a.k.a 2.0 beta is not supported at this time by WINPWN.

1012 is because your baseband does NOT match your firmware.

You must either have upgraded to 2.0 beta and NOT gone to 1.1.4 first or gone down to a lower firmware than the baseband.

Just kick it out of recovery with iLiberty. That is what ZiPhone is doing automatically when you clicked on jailbreak.
