Problems again 10.2.8 (NEW?)

I just got my 17 powerbook and the second version of 10.2.8 updates comes out. I load it and when I restarted it, if I oepnd system pref then open the internet tab, sys pref quits!!

Anyone have ideas or same problems?

Archive-install from your software install/restore DVD. Of course, System Preferences quits on me with 10.2.7 too. Try using it again, it may be something other than the system. I've noticed that many (but not all) people suffer from knee-jerk reactions to whatever Apple does, which includes bitching about: software, hardware, lack of incredibly obscure features, price, and anything else you can think of. But that's not the topic here.
