i originally had macOS Sonoma installed on an internal SATA SSD using OCLP 2.0.2. i also had Ubuntu 24.04 installed on a NVMe SSD using a PCIe adapter (in PCIe slot 4). recently purchased a Sonnet McFiver to dual boot macOS and Ubuntu from NVMe SSDs and installed it in PCIe slot 2. removed Ubuntu NVMe SSD from PCIe adapter and installed in McFiver (in second slot from rear end of card). installed new NVMe SSD in McFiver (in first slot from rear end of card). did clean install of macOS Sonoma (while booted into internal SATA SSD) to new NVMe SSD. booted into new NVMe SSD, installed OCLP, shut down, and removed internal SATA SSD. reboot results in black screen that never proceeds to OCLP boot menu... however, if I replace the internal SATA SSD, Mac Pro will boot and i can see the original, new, and Ubuntu drives in the OCLP boot menu and boot successfully into any of the three. clearly, the OCLP install on the new NVMe SSD is not being seen as valid... what did i do wrong?
