Hi All,

I am having consistent problems connecting to a Samsung Xpress C410W. It simply isn't showing up as an available printer when trying to add it as a new printer.

Has anyone else experienced this as well and is there a solution?

Many thanks!

Nubben

How are you trying to connect? Direct access, local network (ethernet/Wi-Fi), AirPrint? Have you read the manual and followed their instructions?

If you have a wireless network in your home, you have to first connect the printer to the wireless network following the instructions in the manual.

If you have a wireless network in your home, you have to first connect the printer to the wireless network following the instructions in the manual.

Make sure you done the above.

If you have done that already make sure no firewall on your Mac is preventing Bonjour from working. Bonjour is required for adding networked printers in the standard fashion. Firewall settings are in System Preferences>Security & Privacy. If you are running any additional security software there might be a separate firewall setting there.
