problems connecting

Im currently have a problem connecting my apple tv with my wireless internet. It picks up my wireless connection but wont connect, it says after I connect to it, problem with connecting, something like that. How to I fix this? Thanks

are you using any kind of access control? if so you will need to turn off the control and open up your network so you can get the appletv's mac address. then you can close your network back up.

its a rather stupid flaw on apples part.
