Hi,

I've setup a MacPro 3,1 trying to install BootCamp. When I get to the window that has 2 options: "Download the Latest Windows Support files" and "Install Windows 7". I then get a message saying "The Installer disc could not be found".

I've got 2 Windows ISO images that mount ok, I've tried mounting them (one at a time) but it just won't find the Windows Installer ISO.

Any Ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

All the Best
Dave

I should add that the ISO images are on the Mac Partition of the HDD, maybe I need to put them somewhere else? Although the ISO it mounted so I really can't figure out why it doesn't detect it?

Both ISOs were download from MS, the Windows 10 ISO is the one pointed to by the Apple documentation: https://support.apple.com/en-asia/102622

I found something that I thought would solve it. This involved editing the info.plist file in in Boot Camp Assistant package to include a MacPro3,1. Seem to make sense but it didn't work!

I've been stuck on this one problem for hours now. BCA seems brain-dead, I mean how difficult is it to local a volume?
