I have been sent some video clips and none will play on my iBook, I have tried using quick time, VLC and windows media player, but it just will not work!
The video clips are either .wmv or .avi and end as shown ( eg .wmv.001). I have tried removing the '.001' but they still will not play.

How can I get them to play please!

Cheers,

JON

It sounds like the videos are part of an archive set most likely downloaded from a newsgroup.

If so you need to download all the different parts of it .001, .002, .003, .etc, .etc and usually the first file is .ace or .rar or something. All the files combined and decompressed will make one .wmv video which should play.

Heya! That sounds like it, but do you know where I can get an app to decompress and combine the vids?

Thanks a lot,

JON
