Problems running N and G mode on Netgear router

Just purchased Netgear (WNR854T), and I have couple of computer running G mode, and my MBP on N mode. All the computers are running good except the MBP running N, its running extreme SLOW. I did a firmware upgrade on the router as well, anyone encounter this problem??

I had a Netgear G router when I bought my MacBook Pro N and had similar problems. The G devices worked fine but the MBP had problems. I was planning to buy and airport extreme N anyway, so after I dumped the netgear everything has been great. The AP is worth the price to get the boost in speed over G.
