Hey!

So the problem I've got...I am trying to slipstream an xp with service pack 1.1a into an xp service pack 2 to use with boot camp. I'm using nlite software.

However, the first stage is simply to copy the xp disk into a folder which I have tried but everytime it gets stuck on DRIVERS.cab in the I386 folder and comes up with the message: "Cannot copy driver: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)".

Any ideas whats causing the problem, if you can download a replacement anywhere or if service pack 2 will replace that folder anyway so it doesn't matter. Any help is appreciated!

I see you're using a Windows machine for this. You might already have drivers.cab - search under c:\Windows.

Doh, CRC errors are usually due to corruption of a file or inability to read the data off a CD...
