Does anyone else have trouble with zephyr mistaking your slow, bottom swipe to open the app switcher, for the complete swipe up to close the app??

It's happening when it wants to randomly, sometimes it stops at the app switcher (which is what i want it to do) but sometimes it just closes the app as if I swiped it all the way up, even tough I am CLEARLY stopping my finger, and gently removing it from the screen, without an upward motion. Its driving me nuts.

Anyone else experience this, or know what settings I made a mistake on? I've tried everything!
The apps where the slow bottom swipe is not bringing up the app switcher, double clicking on the home button still works on.

I noticed something similar and its driving me nuts too. If I open an app then quickly swipe up to scroll down in the app, like for example scrolling down in my settings app to reach the Cydia apps near the bottom. When I do this quickly, sometimes it'll mistake that scrolling for me swiping up to close the app. I have my sensitivity on almost the smallest setting so if I want to swipe up to close with zephyr, I have to start all the way at the bottom. But this bug occurs when my finger is smack dab in the middle of an app (because I'm scrolling my app down, not swiping it away!)

Anyways, not sure if this is exactly what you're experiencing but I think they're very similar bugs. So don't worry, you're not alone. I bet chpwn will push an update to fix this at some point. No way we're alone on this. It is definitely frustrating, especially when I'm in a rush because this usually only happens when I do things quickly. If I wait a couple seconds I rarely get this bug.

Do you guys have it setup with sensitivity at "tiny" ? Thats how i always have it and never got that issue after, i also have the delay for the task switcher set at minimum.

If that doesnt work just use the grabber option.

Yeah its on tiny- it does it with the grabber too. I just tested it with the grabber, I don't prefer it, so since I saw it didnt' fix it, i turned it off.

Mines on wee. I tried tiny and it does the same thing. I am confident chpwn will release a fix. We're definitely not the only 2 people experiencing this.

it would be awesome if we had the option to use a swipe from top to bottom to close the app. and a swipe from bottom to top to open the app switcher.

What I did to get around this is to set it to app switcher only on zephyr, and on activator, I set the swipe from top to simulate a single press of the home button (when in app).... It doesn't look as cool as seeing the page fly up/down the screen, but I get what I need done: a swipe gets me to the home screen, when I want it to.

I have not run into the issue being discussed but have run into another issue. Does anyone else have an issue where the grabber starts appearing on every swipe regardless of the presence of the keyboard, including on the home screen. It doesn't happen very often and I can fix it with a quick respring so it is not that big of a deal, I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Wouldn't that interfere with the notification center?

yeah it would mess with the notification center, but I don't use the notification center... I actually didn't even know it existed, until this problem arose.

I think its possible to remove the notification center and im almost sure you can setup a gesture with activator to close the app currently open :) why not check that out ? When i used multifl0w i had the same gesture you talk about (pull down from status bar) to bring up multitasking.

oh no, I tried it. It works. The notification center was overridden by activator to simulate a home button press, bringing me to the home screen. I just thought you meant that you'd miss the swipe down notification center

I wish that it had the page looked cooler as the app closes like with zephyr. Pressing the home button has a small delay, and then it like squishes into the middle instead of flying down the page.

Anyone know any tweaks that would make pressing the home button would close an app by flying down the screen?

Ha its called Displaycandy! :D its cool, we can choose how things look as they open/close, similar to barrel. its pretty nice. Got mine on TV tube to Close apps, Random to Launch, and Ripple to switch.

With Display candy, and Activator, with Zephyr (with only the App switcher activated), it looks even cooler than if just Zephyr worked in the first place  I wont get mixed up between closing an app, and just opening the switcher, and its more intuitive to me, because in Auxo, swiping down closes the app, so in my head downswipe = killllllllllllll
