I'm on my second apple tv and am having the same problem. If you are watching a movie rented through ITUNES or something through netflix the sound will cut out and doesn't come back. Nothing happens to video, just sound. Only thing I can do is put it to sleep, turn it back on and then the sound comes back. I tried different hdmi cables, different hdmi connections on the tv, nothing changed. i took it back to apple and they gave me a new one. Now the same thing is happening. If it was my internet connection I figured something would happen to the video, but video is fine. Could it be my router? it's a cheap belkin one.

Second thing is the remote on my iphone 4S. I'm running the latest code on the remote and apple tv. i'll hit play, stop, pause etc. and it seems the apple tv is just unresponsive to it cause nothing happens.

Anybody else have these issues?

Thanks

Since Remote uses your Wi-Fi to work, it sounds like you may be having router issues. Try rebooting the router and modem.
