Problems with joining two handbrake export files (m4v's) in QT pro

I open them both up in quicktime. Then I select all-copy, and paste one file into the other. Then I choose export, and select movie to mpeg4, but it wont let me pass through the video... any suggestions?

Yea it's very strange. Funny though, b/c it's LOTR : Two Towers. I just joined LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring with no problem.

I thought it might have to do with the fact that it's a m4v instead of a mp4. So i changed it to mp4, but when I opened it up with quicktime it would not open saying there was an invalid sample description...
