OK - so I am out of ideas on how to solve this problem. I have a Mac Mini which had been functioning perfectly for the last 4 years. I run the screen saver that turns the screen off in about 2 hours. Everything normal up to the point that the computer monitor blanks. Now when I touch one of my buttons to wake the computer back up the screen comes up shifted the right. There is a big black bar on the left side of the screen and a corresponding amount of content is shifted off the screen to the right. The mouse cursor will not go past where the bar starts. The only way I get the the screen to shift back to its normal position is to touch the power button.

Has anyone experience a similar problem.

Out of ideas how to fix the problem.
