I have the made for Mac version so no unifying dongle. M1 air

When I turn my mx master 3 on 80% of the time the buttons and gestures will be all messed up. My back and forward buttons won’t work on safari, middle click doesn’t work, none of the gestures except for pressing the gesture work. And that for some reason is command + tab. Scrolling will be off too, sometimes inverted, sometimes not. Changing options in logi options doesn’t do anything.

I have uninstalled / reinstalled logi options, tried to do a firmware update but the Logitech firmware update tool link is dead. disconnected / reconnected mouse, no luck. The mouse also seems like it has a ton of latency... i know some airs have that problem? That doesn’t bother me nearly as much though!

Anyone know a fix?

I am also facing issues with my MX Master 3 and MX Keys connecting to my M1 MBA via bluetooth.

  • The customised settings don't automatically apply with me opening Logi Option manually after boot
  • Micro stutters when moving cursors and scrolling fast
I wonder if the issues are caused by Logi Options which is not native to M1 Chip. Sadly so far I didn't hear any news of developing M1-native version from Logitech

I'm having similar issues where everything works fine, then suddenly none of the customizations work, and the mouse appears to be back into "factory default" mode. Launching the app confirms my custom settings, they just don't work. A log-out/in fixes the problem. I'm NOT running an M1 Mac - I'm still on a 16" MBP.

I've spoken to Logitech in the past about connectivity issues, they told me that it's an issue with their Bluetooth chips/software don't work with the macOS BT software very well. They're aware, and there's nothing either side is willing to do to fix it. (Hope they weren't recording the call, otherwise, he'll probably get fired for saying that).

You could try downloading the new Logi Options+ beta software to see if that helps.
