Problems with Photos in ElCapitan

Once I updated to El Capitan from Yosemite my Photos can not be transferred anywhere. I am unable to move photos and videos from Photos to desktop or to email them.
Any ideas as to how to resolve this?

Did u try dragging it straight to Desktop? How are you trying to move them? When you try to email them what error does it give?

I tried dragging to the desktop and the images would not move. When I did a right click and selected to export the photos and or videos via email a blank mail appears but the images never appear, the body of the email remains blank. This makes it impossible for me to share photos or videos.
