My Airport card had been working perfectly from the box, and I could browse the Internet on Safari as soon as I turned it on (after filling in the info, etc.). Yesterday, we started having some problems with our DSL but it started back up a couple hours later and all the other computers worked fine -- except my Powerbook. I'm on the family PC right now and the Internet is working perfectly, as does my dad's wireless card in his laptop and my Dell Axim.
Whenever I try to open Safari, I get the message that it cannot connect to the server (tried several sites). This is what happened when the Internet went down, but all the other computers started connecting when the Internet got back up, but the PB still displays the message. I tried restarting, turning the Airport card off and back on, reconnecting to the router, etc. and nothing works.
Please help so I can get back online!! Thanks :)

Do you have Applecare?
When I had problems with my wireless connection I called Applecare and they solved all my problems over the phone. The person I spoke to knew the Airport system very well.
Hope that helps….Good luck!

I'd check the Network pane of System Preferences. The first thing you'll see when you open it is a window with colored circles to the left of each network connection method you use. Make sure AirPort has a green circle next to it. This means that all is normal and AirPort has a connection.
