I receive a LOT of texts on my iPhone and was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this:

While in a conversation all SMS look fine and are in the proper order.
Once you leave the conversation and return to it things are put of place.
After replying I'll go back to a conversation to send another SMS only to notice that my reply that I just sent is in the middle of the page inbetween other replies.

going back a step and looking at all my conversations I noticed that the preview text under the recipients name shows the current text of the last message sent even though the actual conversation window does not.

Has anyone else been having this issue?

Glad you said this, my SMS messages are all over the place since the upgrade, hope this gets sorted.

Well, on my phone the message is all over the place, replies before sent messages etc.

Phoned apple asked me how I liked being able to sms multiple people LOL! not a feature I need sorry.

Conversation look of the sms I liked, but now they've screwed it up.

its a definite problem. its the same every time for me - there fine, and i leave the convo, and i come back, and it reorders the txt by sender instead of timestamp. all my messages are in a row, then all of the recipients are together. its annoying.

I've been trying to figure out what's causing this problem with no luck. Anyone having any luck with it? I noticed this right off the bat after the update. I text A LOT more than I talk... Let's just say, I take full advantage of unlimited text messages. ;) This is the biggest annoyance I've had in a long time. I'm pretty OCD, so you can imagine what this is doing to me the majority of the time.

Same issue here, plus others. I don't hold out hope that we will see a fix soon, though. History shows the next update won't be for several months.

Ungh...

I've had the issue since 1.1.3 came out... I usually do a full restore when I update to the latest version... I'm used to "formatting & reloading" when it comes to Windows OS's I guess. :) I've had no other issues other with my 1.1.3, than my SMS being all over the place.

I actually did that on a whim (restore versus upgrade), but it didn't seem to help. Nothing terrible is happening with the phone, and SMS seems to have sorted itself out, but I'd like peace of mind, so to speak, knowing that 1.1.4 (or whatever it is called) fixes the few issues I am having.
