Hi,
I downloaded the demo version of spore CC for the Mac and registered online, got a screen-name, uploaded a creature etc. and then a day later it all stopped working. The message was that I had failed to validate my account by return email, but I never received such an email. Did anyone else?
Also, when I go to the spore site, the help is .... uh, limited to day the least.
All I can do is click on a link to have my password or screen name emailed to me, but the email never arrives.
So it seems like there is something wrong with the emails they are sending me but there is no other facility (it seems) to ask any questions, and no FAQ either. Can someone confirm that this is indeed the way it works and that they have received emails and verified their account with EA in this way?
More importantly, does anyone know of an email address to send a help request to? I know they are likely swamped at present, but it seems kind of lame to have no FAQ and no support email either. That, and the fact that they *still* haven't released a Mac version is kind of turning me off from the whole thing.
