See the attached pic.

Im on the top of the line Macbook 15.
Still I feel, the battery life has gone massive down.

Earlier with OS X 9, I was getting 6-7 hours.

Now it goes 1 hour only.

And I feel the system got a bit slow after Yosemite.

Im with Apple Developer account, so its all updated too.

A number of people seem to be seeing the same thing; using Activity Monitor to quit, or force quit, the process may help, but before you do make sure to sample the process and submit the result to http://bugreport.apple.com.

Some people have tried disabling the process entirely (preventing it from starting at all), but I'm not sure what it's actually for, and some people have broken their systems turning it off that way; just quit/force-quit it any time it gets too high instead :)
