Do I get less features if I buy the student version??
Inspector Lee said:Technically, you are not supposed to use educational software for business purposes and that is the only difference. I work for a university so I get to reap the reduced cost benefits of education software. The current (note: pre-'04) office software costs $149 and you get 3 licenses with it. I believe the regular street price is $499. Similarly, Dreamweaver Studio MX runs only $199 for educational whereas the street cost is a wallet-pinching $899.
so that if the student had less features, i would buy the standard edition.Do I get less features if I buy the student version??
Duff-Man says....v2004 has no official release date yet...it is expected to be in the "first half" of this year but you know how software release dates can slip. If you check the link to Microsoft's site in my first reply in this thread you'll see that Microsoft offers a "technology guarantee" so that if you buy the current Office vX you get the new v2004 for free when it ships...as always, read the fine print to make sure you qualify...if so....just buy now as you've nothing to lose.....oh yeah!iEric said:When is it suppose to come out?
