Profile pictures in messages

they are but only in the list of vontacts not in the actual conversation bubble

and it's not consistent....some of mine show profile pics..some dont. Yet all have a picture assigned in contacts

No setting, it's just there. Do you have a gray circle with an initial there instead perhaps?

No way to control that--you can add or remove the actual pictures, but you'll either have a picture being displayed or a gray circle with initials if a picture isn't available.

In the Phone app it will only show up in the Favorites tab. In the Messages app it will only show up on the main conversations list screen.

Yeah it's not showing in the main conversations bit, not even the circle with the initials.

And you are sure you have 9.0 (or 9.1) installed?

Yes, 9.0. Everything else from 9.0 works.

pictures show up only in standard view. if you're using zoomed view they don't show up

Thanks! I changed from zoomed to standard and the pics show up in messages now.

I changed, that fixes it but I can't use normal view anymore. I guess I'll have to wait for my 6s+ next week.

I hate it. I much prefer zoom view. I prefer larger content over more content.
