Program for Whining MBP

Hey Everyone,

I have a whining MBP and when I had Tiger I used to just keep Photo Booth open to keep the processor from idling. Under Leopard this does not seem to work so well because the whine comes back as soon as I minimize the Photo Booth window.

Does anyone know a good program that can run in the background to keep the processor from idling. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, would greatly appreciate a solution. I've sent this MBP back to Apple three times, they never solved it. Photo Booth was the only thing that worked.

What is causing this whine?

This fixes the whine for me. Have been using this ever since i got my MBP back in 2006. it also works with Leopard.
