Hello,

In case this is important: I'm currently running Windows XP on my iMac (an older Intel model running Tiger, so it's the beta version of Boot Camp).

I noticed a few weeks ago that, in XP, a program called "Software Informer" appeared on my computer, though I didn't download it. It has a website and appears fairly legit, but I can't find a way to uninstall it. The fact that I didn't install it and I can't uninstall it bothers me!

Does anybody have any info about this?

Thank you

I'm not sure I fully trust the website posted, but thanks for finding it!

I did find out where it came from, though: it was actually a component that came with a free download manager I was using. I've uninstalled the download manager and Software Informer was removed with it.
