Program to make ringtone louder......

OK...so I make a ringtone, but when the phone plays it....I can't hear it.....the song is really soft. I need it louder....

What program did you use to make the ringtone? Maybe its just of poor quality? I'm not going to insult your intelligence by saying you should turn up the volume.
