Hi I hope this is the right place i'm wordering where i could find a place learn to do programing hope you can help. If this is the wrong place i'm so sorry

It depends on exactly what you're trying to do but you can search this forum. There are many threads concerning beginning programming. You should also look at O'Reilly's website. Not only do they publish books but they have quite a few resources online that address all sorts of development.

First of all, make sure you know what you want to do. That way, you can choose a language to learn.

Second of all, make sure you know how much time you can devote to programming. It can easily suck half of your life if you intend to seriously mess with it.

After you have asked some people about the available languages and what you can do with each one, and have picked a language to learn, ask again in the forums for resources for that particular language.
