iOS Programming an app with chords and lyrics

Hi all Macrumors members

I need help finding the right program and/or a guide to program an iOS App which will contain chords (guitar) and lyrics. I will write the chords and lyrics - the user of my app will have access to it online and offline.

Any ideas? Maybe an homepage were I can do it or a guide how to do it in the xcode.

Thank you for your time. But I am not looking for some karaoke style but more like Ultimate Guitar App - but I want to have my own App so I can write songtext and chords and maybe fetch som data from another homepage.

So you want to store chords with song text locally on an iDivice(iPod,iPad,iPhone), kind of like tablature or sheet music, you don't want the app to play the music with software instruments?
Have a look at coreData for storing information.
Have you got any programming experience?
You probably won't find a guide that teaches you how to program your app from start to finish, instead you would
need to break your app idea into smaller pieces and find the appropriate tutorial for each piece of the puzzle.
