I know google chrome is an option, but is there any other program or app that will let me use and view my macbook from wifi or cellular on my iphone?

I use Splashtop. Solid solution IMHO
That’s not free.

i Like google chrome but it keeps asking me to allow screen recording. I click yes and then it pops up later on to ask me again.
Idk why it’s doing this.

is this cause is mac os Catalina.

Teamviewer has a free solution for personal use:

Teamviewer works. You have to have it running on the target Mac. With it you can easily access the Mac from anywhere with the Teamviewer iOS app.

If you have screen sharing setup (on) for the Mac you can use a VNC app on the iPhone to access the Mac. I use "VNC Viewer" on the iPhone. Accessing from outside your home network takes more configuration of one sort or another. No app has to be running on the Mac.
