When a file is being copied to my Download folder, the icon in the Dock for the Downloads folder shows a progress bar.

It seems that in Yosemite, that bar gets "stuck" and the only way to reset it is to go to Terminal and do killall Dock.

Any ideas? Late 2013 rMBP.

I get the same thing from time to time. It's a bug dating back to OS X Mountain Lion. Saw it for the first time after updating to v10.8.3.

Yeah I used to get it time to time, but under Yosemite it's ALL the time.

Yeah, unfortunately it is back. Never had it under Mavericks.

Weird how these bugs keep turning up, sometimes skipping an OS. Makes you wonder the process Apple uses for making sure bug fixes are implemented not only in the current code but also in future projects.

Not the first time bugs keep coming back.
