All,
I downloaded a video podcast of college lecture recently. I was able to add the feed to iTunes with minimal effort. It turns out the default format type was .mov, so naturally I was unable to transfer the podcast to my iPhone. I then used iSquint to convert the .mov file to a .MP4, but I am still unable to view or transfer the file. What could I be doing wrong? When I look at the file in my Finder, it lists it as being an MPEG-4 movie. Why can't I view or transfer the file?

Make sure you have the new MP4 added into iTunes, as I don't think iSquint does that automatically. Then, make sure that the video is set to sync with the iPhone.

just import the .mov file to itunes and under 'advanced' you can convert it there. no need for other software like isquirt
