Believe it or not, when I installed my extra 2GB of RAM several years ago, I did it in this order:

Now I'm looking at the proper way to install another 8GB of RAM and am surprised that my first method actually worked.

QUESTION:
Could someone please point me to the proper order of RAM installation from first riser "daugher card" to the last? (A,B,1,2, etc.) An actual visual illustration would help, since these cards are apparently not labelled, but if this can be explained in just words, I'll take that instead. :)

The RAM speed indicates that you have a 1,1 or 2,1. There should be a RAM upgrade plan on the inner side of side panel. Naming goes like this if seen from the front (looking through the CPU heatsinks):

A1 A2 A3 A4 (top riser)
B1 B2 B3 B4 (bottom riser)

Apple recommends to install RAM in this order (all matching pairs):

A1/A2 + B1/B2 + A3/A4 + B3/B4

Edit: Ok, you found it ;D
