I believe this thread belongs here because there is so many complaints about Apple's customer service that I just wanted (and hopefully others will join) to express how deeply satisfied I am in Apple right now.

I just bought myself a MBP, a 60gig iPod and I couldn't be a happier customer (well maybe if they were here already). This is my first Apple purchase and I don't regret it at all. The products were confirmed and I received my invoice within 2 days for all of the aforementioned products.

The first time I called their customer service hotline was because I was curious what "completed" under the order status of my Apple Care meant. An English speaking agent informed me that it merely meant that it was loaded on my Mac and shortly after receiving my Mac I would get an envelope stating my starting period. The gentleman was very patient and even told me about how he got a cold from someone in the office.

The second time was because I was concerned whether or not my card had been charged yet. My current card was cancelled as I just got another debit card. On my online banking nothing had been charged so I wondered if there were any issues. Called them up and an agent named Paul was more than delighted (yes, really) to explain that there were absolutely no problems and he appreciated me calling.

Even though these issues didn't have to do with a certain failure or tech support persay, I feel that these examples are a real testament to Apple's dedication. Maybe not to everyone but to me :)

I completely agree with you mortey, Apple's dedication to their customers is almost unheard of in the computer industry.

as another example of apple's dedication... I had put together an order online of a MBP, macbook, 2 printers, and 2 ipod nanos thru the education store (for my sister and I). then my sis wanted a MBP also, so I cancelled the order. the next morning, an apple representative called and asked if I needed any help in ordering. when I was ready to order in a couple days, he put together everything for me (although I could have easily done this myself) and upgraded my shipping, and here I am, first day with my new MBP, and its perfect and completely satisfied:)
 
Same here

Same here, a while back my iPod wasn't working so I called up Apple's Customer Support. The lady on the phone was very nice and even told me how she'd been to El Paso (my hometown) on a trip once. She then decided to replace my iPod. The very next day DHL brought a box for me to put my old iPod in, they even included tape! About three days later brand new iPod for me.
