Pro's and Con's of Using Built-In Key-Holes to Mount Heavy-ish Surround Speakers?

Greetings & Salutations --AGAIN.

My surround speakers aren't huge or really heavy, but after seeing all the resin speaker mounts out there, & all the folks saying how they bend a bit under the weight of some of the larger (but within limits) surround speakers, and the high price of nice sturdy hardware, I'm tempted to mount my 8 lb. ones & esp. my 12 lb. main fronts using the key-hole mounts.

Yea/nea?

-What are the drawbacks/pluses??

You should put them on a scale and play something through them you'll get a better idea of what the vibration adds in weight.
