They are 234.99 on costco's website too. They have been 234.99 on Amazon multiple times for about 8 hours. I have ordered a pair for 234.99 on November 2. (Canceled my original order of Oct 30 $249 with delivery window Nov 14 to Nov 24) Now estimate delivery is on the picture. However, I am frustrated by this long wait time. My local walmart and bestbuy have airpods in stock and availbale for pick up (today , wlamart has 4 in stock) or delivery for Nov 8....

For quite a while and will only drop. AirPods Pro released October 30th and a "price drop" in less than a week by large retailers. This product is overpriced at $250 anyways, much like the HomePod was and has seen substantial drops close to its debut. The AirPods Generation 1 & 2 were borderline at $150, which is why, you seen the Generation 2 with the wireless case at $199 have "price drops" not long after it was released. The Generation 2 with charging case was selling close to release price.

Does anyone know why amazon order page mentions this:
Extended delivery time: This item is subject to shipping restrictions due to materials in its composition.

Man ... why you gotta be so mean? I KNOW the reality man ... I know it. Don't mess with the fantasy aight? maybe, just maybe say something like 'I've got high paying job with upper middle-class wages in an on-demand market segment for years to come and your Green Card to move on down' :)

The Chinese gray market can offer some pretty sweet deals too ...

I was talking about Brand New Products. The market in Shenzen China have their own identity they are also good in copying. But if you talk about Branded products like Apple, Samsung, LG, and all the other AV and Computing Stuff IMHO the prices that i have come across in the U.S is mind blowing compared to the world and I am not from the U.S !!

If you have AmEx you can get $20 or 20% off a pair at Amazon, by spending at least 1 membership point. Discover has a similar deal going too. I paid $215 + tax, with guaranteed 11/12/2019 delivery.

How do you get the AmEx card discount? I have a Delta Skymiles AmEx card (from AmEx itself, not through a bank). But I’m not seeing anything like that. Maybe that’s not one of my perks?

Wait in that case you should purchase with an address from states like OR or DE, these have 0% sales tax so you don't get no surprise at check out. I know Japan also has cheap electronics relatively to the rest of the world, but like in the US they often don't include sales tax in their price.

Just checked on Apple Japan and USA Website, without Tax the Price difference of an iPhone 11 Pro between Japan and USA is just $15 with Japan being cheaper than than USA this is not including any additional tax. As far as getting shipped Apple Product to an tax free commercial address. Apple has a very secret and effective source and way of Identifying which is a genuine mailing address of an user and which is a Package Forwarding Address and the moment Apple finds out it is a Package Forwarding Address, they straight away cancel that Order without any communication.

I calle Apple customer care and was able to have them pricematch (I bought my APP from Apple Store before finding out about the Costco and Amazon deals).

I got APPs at Adorama for $229 no tax and free shipping. Appleinsider had a promo code but I'm not sure if it is still active.
