iPad Pro Pros/Cons Cellular iPad Pro

So I’m finally upgrading my Gen 2 iPad Pro to the latest 11” model. I’m thinking for this one of getting cellular. I’m on the Verizon network. What are the pros and cons of cellular on Verizon versus simply hotspotting my phone (other than simple convenience).

Anyone gotten it and discovered it wasn’t worth the extra cost and monthly fee?
