I am transfering some pictuers from my phone via bluetooth to my laptop, how can i protect them? I am looking for a way to so that even if someone would get access to my laptop he would not be able to see these pictuers. I would like to protect this folder (which will have the pics in it) with a password "and" another way so that if someone would hack my computer he would not be able to get into it.

Thanks.

I might also extend this to my school files that i keep on my laptop.

Use Disk Utility to create an encrypted disk image, and keep your files in there. Make sure when first open the disk image you've created that you uncheck the "save password in keychain" option, otherwise it'll open from your account without requiring the password.
