Apparently Numark, makers of DJ gear (turntables, mixers, etc.) is in development of a portable dual iPod mixing console. It's only in the prototype stage for now but looks very promising. You can read all about it here:

I cant understand how this would work. You'd have to play quite a bit of the song while it buffers right? Then if you pitch shift up a lot it'll play faster thus empty the buffer. So your going to have to have played the song for like 2 mins to buffer it, before actually playing it thru the mixer.
