I really want to play Prototype, but I don't have any consoles, so I'm turning to my Mac. I have yet to install Windows 7 (it's a long, complicated story), but i plan to do so within the month, using Boot Camp. I've read reviews that the Prototype PC game doesn't work well and has some glitches, and I don't even know that it's for Windows 7.

Has anyone played it this way? Any advice? Should I go for it?

It would help if you told which machine u have, if you have a fairly new mac with a graphics card other than intel hd, then yes.
If it works in windows, it works in bootcamp, this is 100%.

I'm running a 15" i7 with the 6750m GPU, Windows 64-bit through Bootcamp, and the game works almost flawlessly for me. There's an issue for everyone with sound, where cutscenes can be very quiet while normal gameplay seems to be at a normal audio volume.

However, I have read a ton of feedback on the Steam forums from people saying they can't even get the game to start. I wouldn't feel right saying it works great for me without mentioning that it's horrible for lots of others. As far as I know, the people with problems aren't running it on a Mac, so it could just be their setup.
