My French mobile provider (Bouygues) somehow keeps adding bookmark in Safari to their website.

I’ve deleted it a number of times, but it keeps coming back. I’m not sure if it’s anything I do that makes it come back, but it seems launching their app, for example, doesn’t add the bookmark.

Has anyone else come across this, and is there a way to stop it?

I’m on iOS 12.0.1, iPhone 7.

Probably something that's part of their carrier settings I'd imagine.

If I remember correctly there used to be a way to change carrier settings... but I can’t find it anymore! Any ideas?

Is there a configuration profile which was installed? Look in the Settings app for that. Those profiles can do things like change browser settings.

Don't think you can actually change carrier settings themselves aside from loading a different SIM from a different carrier. You can try resetting network settings and/or clearing all Safari data, but I'm not sure that will do it.
