iOS Provisioning profile not installing, no errors

A client of mine is having a problem. I attached a provisioning profile to an email, and her husband tapped on the attachment and was taken to Settings->General, where he was kindly informed that no profiles had been installed. He did not see any error messages. The UDID appears to check out, and I'm pretty sure the iPad is listed in the provisioning profile (I went to the profile page.)

The iPad in question is running iOS 9.

As a workaround, I shall be having my client's husband use iTunes. We'll see if this link helps:

Have you looked in to testflight? It removes the requirement to pass provisioning profiles and simplifies testing, I think.
