Hi

I'm able to setup and use a proxy to access websites o/s (that are normally only accessible in that particular location and won't 'work' without a proxy) however, using an anonymous proxy, their is one particular website that is still able to detect that I'm not within their location ("content not available in your location") - even with firewall, 'private browsing' and the anon.

Any ideas as to why or how this can happen? I was under the impression that anon. proxies do not send on the users IP add.

Currently using proxy on web proxy, socks proxy, streaming proxy (RTSP).

Cheers

Maybe they block the proxy's address so they will be sure of the user's origin.
