Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to stream content to
jailbroken ATV2 with proxy server? At the moment i have a different i.p address for my mac book pro through a proxy server in the UK so I can access content to watch UK TV. However - how do I then stream this to my ATV? ..and ideally I would like this to work independently so my Macbook pro don't have to be on to stream the content.
I know that with Plex you get BBCiplayer plug-in and 4oD plug-in, both are UK content on demand websites, but with that I would still need to switch to proxy server.
Help anyone?

...few hours in and lots of viewing but no reply yet. is it really that impossible with the ATV?
OK, if you reply you win a toaster!

In theory you should be able to set up your macbook to share its internet connection (which would be accessing the internet through the proxy UK connection). The ATV2 should be able to use the MacBook as its hub and thus end up access the internet through the proxy server.

I tried to get the above to work using my iMac and a PS3/Roku but couldnt get it to work. If you find a way to get it to work using the ATV2, i'd be happy to know. :)
